Thanks for your comment, Rachel! This strip was not about a specific contest and by no means is it meant to knock 30-day writing challenges. It’s just about Bo’s thoughts on writing a novel in 30 days.
Good luck in November! Sometimes you don’t know what a book is about until you start writing it. Know what I mean?
Been there, done that! And it was, indeed, crap. But it was flying ninja monkey crap!
Flying ninja monkeys?.. What kind of monkeys?
The kind that like to fling . . . never mind! XD
At least Bo realized it was crap! Some people write a novel in 30 days and think they are done. :::shudders:::
“Shudders” indeed!
Yeah, there’s a lot of filler in it–so what? As long as you can look back and see what to cut!
And, technically, it’s 50,000 words and it’s in November, not July. Though there is a JuNoWriMo, too–in June.
Wish me luck this November! I’m not entirely sure what I’ll be writing, though.
