A friend once described a typical story in the New Yorker as, “Nothing happens, but we all feel very deeply about it.”
I’d laugh at this if I could stop crying. Don’t do it, Bo. You’ll end up like me — resorting to taking pictures of my cats with literary journals. And no one wants that.
You know, cats with literary journals sounds like it could be a popular web site! I’d check it out. “Cat reading Tin House” or “Cat reading Glimmer Train”
