Bo’s Cafe Life Fiction Contest Winner!
Congratulations to Jennifer Anne F. Messing! Her story, One Hour in Atlanta, came in FIRST PLACE in the First “Bo’s Cafe Life” Fiction Contest! Jennifer’s story will be published in the October/November/December issue of The Storyteller.
Gary Hoffman’s Table #36 came in Second Place and Angela Poole Funai’s Chai & Cologne came in Third Place.
I sincerely thank the writers who entered. There were many submissions and I truly enjoyed reading all of them. Again, I thank you and please submit stories to future Bo’s Cafe Life contests.
Can you clarify what you mean by “cafe life.” (In general or in regards to your Bo’s Cafe Life?)
Great question! By “cafe life” I mean writing in cafes/coffeehouses, coffeehouse culture, interacting with baristas, coffeehouse drinks, etc.! And, please feel free to bring your own personal meaning to “cafe life.”

Would you prefer us to follow a specific submission guideline? Font? Spacing?
Nope! Just paste your story into your email with the subject “Story Contest.” Other than keeping it under 1,000 words and making sure that your story is inspired by cafe life, we are not very picky!
Now I love this contest even more! You should have my submission in a day or so.
GREAT!
So, how did the contest go? If a winner was announced, I missed it. (Didn’t have an entry, just curious,)
Hey Pepper. The winner was not announced. There were many great stories that were submitted. A winner will be announced soon!
Congratulations to Jennifer, Gary and Angela!
I raise my mug to each of you. Cheers!
