LOL! I don’t count mine anymore. I just forward them automatically to my therapist.
    🙂

After a year of query, rejection/feedback, revise, my rejection two days ago said “there’s nothing wrong with this, can’t pinpoint my finger on why I don’t love it.”

So, the irony is, I’ve queried all the agents I can think of, and now that there’s nothing really wrong with it, I can’t query anyone anymore…

“requesting something stronger at the cafe” – Kahlua? Tia Maria? I love coffee liqueur!

How about querying some agents you haven’t thought of? Have you received 13 rejections? If you have, then put that book aside and start cranking out the next one. When you’re a famous author, you’ll be able to sell the book that everyone rejected. 🙂

Pools make me think of the NCAA tourney. May Chris’ book be like the team with the surprise upset. March madness! I’ll stand the next round of virtual drinks for her.

Thanks Lori! But only if you’re partaking too!
