LOL! TouchΓ© – I admit that I’ve tilted my eReader (I have a nook) away from the person next to me on an airplane b/c it creeped me out that they were looking over my shoulder.

I did that to someone on an airplane once, but it’s what convinced me to get my own.

But I promise that they didn’t know, I was across the aisle and down a row.

      What were you reading? πŸ™‚

I believe I was reading The Picture of Dorian Gray during that instance. I’m a little uncomfortable in the close quarters of an airplane, anyway, so I’m sure he was just curious about the reader, like Derrick said. It’s just me with the hang-up. :p

    OOOOOOOOOH SNAP!

I hear that the Kobo displays the cover as the screen saver.

It’s funny, because when I buy/bought a hardcover, I always throw/threw out the slipsleeve, because that thing doesn’t feel as good in your hands as the feel of the hardcover. But I realize now that it was probably difficult for people to see what I was reading, so no real change there with the Kindle for me.

I’m the nosy one who loves to see what other people are reading. If I can’t see the title, and there’s a way to do it without being rude, I ask. Can’t imagine querying someone w/an e-reader, though.

This is very funny. I’m always curious about what book person next to me is reading. And I always check the book the next time I’m in a bookstore. You’re right, can’t do that with iPad or Kindle πŸ˜€
