Congratulations to Jennifer Anne F. Messing! Her story, One Hour in Atlanta, came in FIRST PLACE in the First “Bo’s Cafe Life” Fiction Contest! Jennifer’s story will be published in the October/November/December issue of The Storyteller.

Gary Hoffman’s Table #36 came in Second Place and Angela Poole Funai’s Chai & Cologne came in Third Place. 

I sincerely thank the writers who entered. There were many submissions and I truly enjoyed reading all of them. Again, I thank you and please submit stories to future Bo’s Cafe Life contests.

Announcing the Bo’s Café Life Fiction Contest!

What do writers want? To be published! Now, you have a chance with the Bo’s Café Life Fiction Contest! A copy of the Bo’s Café Life collection I’m Not Out of Work!.. I’m a Writer!! and publication in The Storyteller magazine is given for a short short story inspired by café life. No entry fee! Wayne E. Pollard, creator of Bo’s Café Life, and Regina Williams, publisher of The Storyteller magazine, will judge.

Submit a story of up to 1,000 words by August 31. You may only enter one story. Your entry must be original, in English, and not previously published or accepted by any other publisher. Since Bo’s Café Life has many readers around the world, I encourage submissions from non-U.S. residents. Paste the story into your email. Email your story to boscafelife@gmail.com with the subject “Story Contest.” No attachments, please. Winners will be notified by email in Fall 2011.
