About Wayne E. Pollard
For over a decade, I’ve been a writer, entrepreneur and consultant by choice – just not mine. I got fired from my last job as the director of marketing for a software firm. Believing that I should live each day as if it was my last, I gave the president of the company a piece of my mind. This made it rather awkward for me when, apparently, I didn’t die that night. I am the author of Minds Before Market Share and my work has been published in The New York Times, The Village Voice, The Writer, Writer’s Digest, Chief Marketer, PR Week, on the Huffington Post, and in way too many other publications to list. My collection of funny pieces, A Kilo of Chocolate Sprinkles, is now on sale! And it’s only $0.99!

I’m over from Janet Reid’s blog.
These are brilliant!! Reading this will be part of my morning routine, along with the Can Haz Cheezburger cats. Love your cartoons!!
Thank you, Chris! I appreciate your comment.
There is something completely hilarious about being told you’re so good that you qualify for a spot next to pictures of grammatically challenged cats making ridiculous faces. Wayne, this is your sign: you’ve finally made it.
You’re right… it is hilarious! Thanks for your comment — I appreciate it.
Ken … you beat me to it… I was thinking the very same thing.
I live in a small Italian village 800 inhabitants. I was once introduced to someone: as the ‘best jazz guitarist in the village’ I would have preferred if he’d said the ‘only’
Anyway I love the cartoons, Wayne. Excellent stuff!!
hahahaha! Thanks again, Rowland – I appreciate your comments!
Love the cartoons Wayne. Keep ‘espressing’ yourself.

Keep it up.
Wayne, I know getting the Liebster Award was a heady experience and that the after party was a drunken-pass-out-wake-up-in-the-police-station-affair, but I decided you need a repeat: The Thought Provoking Blog Award (http://ourprocess.wordpress.com/2012/08/26/thought-provoking-award/). You of course deserve it and need more of this kind of thing. So: salud!
First, Aaron–no you DID NOT make corn pone! hahaha!! Second, you’re description of Bo’s Cafe Life is great! LOL!
Thanks a lot for the award-I appreciate it.
Yeah. I actually like the stuff. Terrible to say.
And: you deserve the award. Your blog is consistently smart and funny. Two very hard things to do.
DEAR WAYNE:
Stumbled on your comic strip some months ago. Very good for writer’s blues, and the manic depression that only a writer understands.
This is for you. Enjoy!
